San Lucido
San Lucido is a town in the province of Cosenza in Calabria with 5938 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
San Lucido is located about 40 km west of Cosenza on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The neighboring municipalities are Falconara Albanese, Paola, Rende and San Fili.
Attractions
The place is a ruin of a medieval castle. On the coast are still remains of a fortress from the Middle Ages. In the church in the village is an altar from the 16th century. In the parish church there is a painting from the 18th century, showing the baptism of Jesus.
