Toyota Gaia (1998)

The turbo diesel 3C -TE is a 2.2-liter four-valve R4, which provides 69 kW. 4- speed automatic transmission with steering wheel gearshift and automatic climate control are standard. In all three drive variants could be between the equipment as a 7- seater or 6- seater choose ( with two separate individual seats in the second row ). The backrests in the second and third row seats can be individually folded forward to increase the cargo space accordingly.

The all-wheel drive technology, the 4WD - Gaia models called " Active Torque Control" is installed since 2006 in the Toyota RAV4 (third generation). Facelift 1998-2004:

  • 2000 April: optional Multi- AV System (CD- based navigation with GPS and VICS, television, 6 speakers, CD player, rear view camera ).
