Toyota Regius (1999)

The Toyota Regius is a Japanese minivan, based on the Toyota Granvia.

In April 1997 the Toyota Regius appeared. These were to a reduced width in the Toyota Granvia with all-wheel drive, which was also available with diesel engines. In October of the same year, the Toyota Hiace Regius Van appeared for commercial use was built but only until 1999.

The cars were equipped with in-line four -cylinder diesel engines. Only the van was also available with a 2.7 -liter R4 petrol engine with two overhead camshafts. The 3.0 -liter R4 turbo diesel engine 3RZ -FE engine and the 1KZ -TE were already known from the Granvia.
