Villa General Mitre

Villa General Mitre is a district in the center of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. It has 34,000 inhabitants (as of 2001) on an area of 2.2 km ². The population density of the district is just under 15,500 inhabitants per km ² and is thus slightly above the average of Buenos Aires of about 13,500 inhabitants / km ².

Villa Gral. Mitre is bounded by the streets Condarco, Av. Gaona Av. Tte. Grail. Donato Alvarez, Av. Juan B. Justo, Av. San Martín and Av. Álvarez Jonte.

1908, the district was named after General Bartolomé Mitre, the 1862 to 1868 was President of Argentina. He is predominantly residential area, characterized by quiet roads, trees and simple houses.
