1928 International Lawn Tennis Challenge

The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1928 was the 23rd edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national teams in tennis. The competition was held in two continental zones of Europe and the Americas zone. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the final. Here, the USA against Italy prevailed 4-1. In from 27 to 29 July during the final against defending champions France France defeated the United States 4-1. France won so the second title in the history of the International Lawn Tennis Challenge.

Playoff

In the playoff between the two winners of the continental zones, the U.S. triumphed over Italy, and attracted so for the ninth consecutive year, the final one.
