2010 Davis Cup was held for the 99th time. 16 teams played in the World Group for the title. The finale was held from 3 to 5 December in Belgrade. Defending champion Spain was eliminated in the quarter- final against France. Serbia prevailed in the final with a 3-2 victory over France by and thus secured its first Davis Cup victory.
