1930 International Lawn Tennis Challenge
The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1930 was the 25th edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national teams in tennis. The competition was held in two continental zones of Europe and the Americas zone. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the final. Here, the U.S. put against Italy clearly with 4:1 through, failed in from 25 to 27 July during the finals but just as clearly with 1:4 at defending France. France won it fourth title in a row.

Playoff
In the playoff between the two winners of the continental zones, the U.S. triumphed over Italy. The U.S. had to give only the already meaningless fifth match, and went with it for the eleventh consecutive year, the final one.
