2009–10 Belgian Pro League

The season 2009/10 Jupiler Pro League is the 107th edition of the first Belgian Football League. It began on July 31, 2009 and ended on May 8, 2010. RSC Anderlecht was the 30th time in their history Belgian champion.

In the 2009/10 season, the format of the Jupiler Pro League was changed drastically. The league was reduced from 18 to 16 teams and several play-offs were introduced after the regular season. On 28 December 2009, the Belgian association issued a suspension against Excelsior Mouscron, with a demotion to the two-pronged Division III equivalent - the third highest Belgian league - is. Regular Season

In the season 2019/10 participated 16 teams. This initially played in a double round of the regular season. The final table this season serves as a basis for the qualification to various placement rounds.

Championship Final Round

The first six teams qualify for the Masters round and determine the Belgian champions. The participating teams will each receive half of the points scored in the regular season credited.
