2010–11 EHF Women's Champions League

At the EHF Champions League 2010/11 participated in a total of 30 handball club teams, who had in the previous season in their home countries qualified for the competition. It was the 51th staging of the EHF Champions League and the European Cup of Champions. The Cup games began on 3 September 2010 return final round was held on May 15, 2011. Defending champion was the Danish club Viborg HK. With Larvik HK for the first time won a Norwegian team the title.

Mode

Qualification 1 The Qualification 1 was held under a tournament. A group à four teams, with each team playing in a group once against any other team. In the group, the first and second placed team qualified for the qualification 2 The two eliminated teams moved into the second round of the EHF Cup.

Qualification 2 The Qualification 2 was held in the framework of several tournaments. Four groups of four teams, with each team playing in a group once against any other team. For each group the best team qualified for the group stage. Retiring twelve teams zogenn into the third round of the EHF Cup.

Group stage There were four groups of four teams. In a group, everyone plays against everyone a return match; the two best group reached the main round.

Main Round There were two groups of four teams. In a group, everyone plays against everyone a return match; the two best group reached the semi-finals.

All-in -lap The semifinals and finals was played in a knockout system with return game.

The draw for the qualifying one took place at 11:00 clock (UTC 2) in Vienna on 13 July 2010. It took the 4 teams who had previously qualified for the competition, in part.
