2012 Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger

The Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger in 2012 was the 19th edition of the hard court tennis tournament in Binghamton. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2012 and was held from 16 until 22 July 2012.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 16 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. Ahead of the doubles competition two pairs played for a spot in the tournament. The prize money of the event was a total of $ 50,000.

In singles, the unseeded American Michael Yani, who won the final against South African qualifier Fritz Wolmarans won in straight sets. This was the second Challenger singles title of his career and the first for 4 years. Last year's winner Paul Capdeville of Chile did not appear to defend their title.

In the doubles competition unseeded Israeli Dudi Sela and pairing consisting of Harel Srugo could win the final against the unseeded also Adrien Bossel from Switzerland and Michael McClune from the United States in the match tie-break. This was Selas second and Srugos first doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour. Last year's winners Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah of Colombia both did not occur to defend their title.
