Ächerlipass

The Ächerli is a Swiss passport, Wisserlen, a hamlet in the town core in the Canton of Obwalden, connects with Dallenwil in Nidwalden. The lowest point of the pass is at an altitude of 1'398 m above sea level. Level, the highest point of the pass road, however, lies a little further south at an altitude of 1'458 m above sea level. M. The paved road with a total length of 19.6 kilometers, has a good slope to up to 16 percent. Up to passing places it is usually only one lane and rather narrow.

North of the pass is the built in 1754 pilgrimage chapel of St. Mary. It stands on the site of mentioned already in the 14th century hermitage.
