Andrea Petkovic

Andrea Petković (Serbian Cyrillic Андреа Петковић ) ( born September 9, 1987 in Tuzla, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia ) is a German tennis player. She lives in Griesheim near Darmstadt.

In her career, she previously won two WTA tournaments in singles, 2009 in Bad Gastein and 2011 in Strasbourg. They also secured eight singles and three doubles titles on ITF tournaments. In 2007 and 2009 she was German champion.

Career

Childhood and youth

When she was six months old, her family emigrated to Germany. Andrea Petković, daughter of a Bosnian Serb and a Bosniakin (father Zoran, mother, Amira ), in 2001 a German citizen.
