Colroy-la-Roche

Colroy -la- Roche ( German Kolrein ) is a municipality with 482 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Vosges département Bas- Rhin in Alsace region of France. She is a member of the Communauté de communes de la Haute- ruptures. The department D424 road connecting the village to Ranrupt and Saint -Blaise -la- Roche. Between Colroy -la -Roche and Ranrupt is the Forêt Domaniale du Champ du Feu.

History

In the years 607 and 608, the village " Collerinse " and in the 17th century " La colline du roy " was. After the Thirty Years War, the Colroy la Roche was repopulated primarily by immigrants from Switzerland and the region of Montbéliard. 1790 the village was assigned to the Canton hall and thus Alsace.
