Russ (Bas-Rhin)
Russ (German carbon black) is a commune with 1247 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district and to Molsheim Canton Schirmeck.
The village lies in the valley of the Breusch in the Vosges. For Russ include the districts Les Bruyeres, Steinbach and Schwarzenbach. Neighboring communities of soot are Wisches in the north, Muhlbach- sur- ruptures in the northeast, Grendelbruch in the east, the south and Barembach Schirmeck in the West.
