Wangen (Bas-Rhin)
Cheeks iste ine French community with 722 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. It is one of the villages along the Alsace Wine Route.
Attractions
A medieval city wall with two towers has been preserved. Particularly striking are the Niedertor, the Sommertor and Motcheltor. The medieval castle of the Lords of Wangen, an octagonal central, was demolished in 1750.
