Frank Hussey

Francis Valentine Joseph "Frank" Hussey ( born February 14, 1905 in New York, NY, † December 26, 1974 in Coxsackie, NY) was an American track and field athlete and Olympic champion.

In the VIII Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924 he won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay with a new world record, along with his team-mates Loren Murchison, Louis Clarke and Alfred LeConey, ahead of the teams from Great Britain ( silver) and the Netherlands ( bronze).

In 1925, he won over 100 yards at the AAU Track and Field Championships in the 100 meters and the New England Championships in 1926 and 1927. In 1927 he also won more than 200 yards. After that ended his athletic career.
