Gail Schoettler

Gail Schoettler Sinton ( born October 21, 1943 in Los Angeles, California) is an American politician. Between 1995 and 1999 she was Deputy Governor of the State of Colorado.

Career

Gail Schoettler studied at Stanford University and economics at the University of California at Santa Barbara history. Politically, she joined the Democratic Party. From 1985 to 1995 she held the office of the Colorado State Treasurer.

1995 Schoettler was new Deputy Governor of the State of Colorado as the successor of Samuel H. Cassidy. This position she held until 1999. Yet she was Deputy Governor Roy Romer. In August 1996, she participated as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in part, was nominated to the President Bill Clinton for re-election. In 1998 she ran for the governorship of Colorado, but was defeated by Republican Bill Owens. Between 1999 and 2001 she was a U.S. Representative to the World Radiocommunication Conference.

Today, Gail Schoettler CEO of Fischer Imaging Corp. spwoe Director of CancerVax Corporation and Aspen Bio, Inc. She also writes articles for the newspaper, The Denver Post. She was awarded the French Legion of Honour.
