Sterling Byrd Lacy

Sterling Byrd Lacy ( May 3, 1882 in Fredericksburg, Virginia; † May 7, 1955 in Daytona Beach, Florida ) was an American politician. Between 1925 and 1927 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Colorado.

Career

About the youth and education of Sterling Lacy nothing is handed down. He later moved to Colorado, where he worked in the insurance industry. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. Between 1919 and 1921, and again from 1923 to 1925 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Colorado.

In 1924, Lacy was elected to the side of Clarence Morley Vice Governor of the State of Colorado. This post he held between 1925 and 1927. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, he is no longer politically have appeared. He died on May 7, 1955 in Daytona Beach.
