Kühren

Kühren is a municipality in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography

The community Kühren bordered to the north on the town of Preetz and to the west by the municipality Löptin; the eastern border of the city Preetz is described by the Lankans lake and the adjoining Good Wahlstorf. To the south it borders the goods Bundhorst and Depenau in the community Stolpe.

The church today Kühren comprises a substantial part of the territory of the former Gutsbezirks Kühren and today consists of three parts: the former estate Kühren ( first mentioned in 1216 ), the village Kleinkühren ( first mentioned in 1232 ) and the village Kührsdorf, which was first mentioned in records in 1316 will.
