The list of winners of the great country tours in cycling lists all winners of the three major national tours, also called " Grand Tours", in road cycling - Giro d' Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España - on. The record for the most wins in one of the three tours held the American Lance Armstrong with seven victories in the Tour de France, but they were taken from him in 2012 for doping. Most victories in the Tour de France go so Jacques Anquetil, Bernard Hinault and Eddy Merckx and Spaniard Miguel Indurain with five successes. Record winner of the Giro d' Italia are Eddy Merckx and the Italian Alfredo Binda and Fausto Coppi with five successes at the Vuelta a España, the Swiss Tony Rominger and Roberto Heras of Spain with three hits, with Heras 2005 after his original fourth success (initially ) was disqualified for doping.

So far, there is still no driver managed to win all tours in a calendar year. Nine riders managed to finish two of the three tours victorious in a season. Record holder is also Eddy Merckx with four double success. The most recent winner Alberto Contador in 2008 with the Giro d' Italia and the Vuelta a España two tours in a calendar year.

Winner of multiple tours in a calendar year

Year: Indicates the year in which the driver has won several tours. Driver: Specifies the name of the driver. The number in parentheses indicates the number of times the driver more of the tours won in one season. Itineraries: Specifies the name of the tour, who won the year in question the driver. The order is determined by the discharge order in a given year.
