Löptin
Löptin is a municipality in the region Barkauer land in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein. The villages Behnke mills, Fischkroog and Hohenwühren lie in the municipality.
Geography and transport
Löptin is located about 16 km north-east of Neumünster and about 8 km southwest of Preetz on the main road 404 from Kiel to Bad Segeberg and on Löptiner lake.
History
The place was first mentioned in 1224 as Good Knight Johann von Lubbe - tyn.
As the form of the place name (up to ) show and still preserved village system of a Wendish the winder, Löptin was originally a Slavic settlement.
Policy
Since the local elections of 2013, the voters Community FWL has all nine seats in the municipal council.

Economy
The community is predominantly agricultural. However, there are also craft and retail businesses in the town.
