Mark Bell (ice hockey)

Mark Bell (* August 5, 1980 in St. Paul's, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since November 2013 in the Berlin Polar Bears in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Mark Bell began his career in 1996 in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League with the Ottawa 67 's. While he was in his rookie season with difficulty did, he succeeded in his second season a jump from twelve to 60 points. The Chicago Blackhawks selected him in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1998 at position eight. However, he initially remained in Iserlohn, where he was working on his comeback. On November 16, 2013 Bell left Iserlohn, because it could not agree on a new contract with the Roosters. After he was even an injury early in the season, he coached already returned several weeks with the Roosters before he left the club and joined the League within the polar bear Berlin.

Mark Bell is regarded as a power forward who prefers the physical play. He has excellent defensive skills, but is criticized for he shoots and prepare to few goals.
