Mazères, Gironde

Mazères is a commune in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. It has an area of 13.1 km ² and had 692 inhabitants on 1 January 2011.

The village is located about seven kilometers south of Langon on a small hill on a large surface sloping north to the Garonne towards terrain profile. Just one kilometer east runs in a north -south direction, the N 524 from Langon after Captieux. South and west flows around the location of the Ruisseau de Marquet.
