Michaël Llodra

Michaël Llodra ( born May 18, 1980 in Paris ) is a French tennis player. He is a Knight of the French National Order of Merit.

Career

Michaël Llodra has so far won five singles titles and reached four other individual finals in his career. Far more successful was Llodra in doubles. Here he won 22 titles so far. With victories at the Australian Open in 2003 and 2004 (each with Fabrice Santoro ) and Wimbledon in 2007 ( with Arnaud Clément ) get him here three Grand Slam successes as well as with Santoro 2005 success at the season final Tennis Masters Cup. In addition, he failed 18 times in doubles competitions will only in the finale, including the Australian Open 2002 ( with Santoro ), the French Open in 2004 (with Santoro ) and the Australian Open in 2008 ( with Clément ).

Llodras highest individual placement is so far a 21st place from May 2011 in the individual and a 8th place from June 2004 in doubles classification of world tennis rankings.

On 24 January 2002 Michaël Llodra succeeded in a double semi-final of the Australian Open on the side of his partner Fabrice Santoro hit the " trick ", a deeply over the place flying bird with the tennis ball. The ball was deflected beyond the reach of the opponent Julien Boutter and Arnaud Clément, referee Javier Moreno wore the dead animal from the square.
