Orta Nova is located in the Apulian Tavoliere. The place is located about 35 km southeast of Foggia. Neighboring municipalities: Ascoli Satriano, Carapelle, Cerignola, Ordona, Stornara, Stornarella

Both Rosso and Rosato are made from Sangiovese (60 to 100%), and free use of Uva di Troia, Montepulciano, Lambrusco Maestri and Trebbiano Toscano (up to 40 %).
