Rowing at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's eight

The rowing competition in the aft of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held from July 28 to August 1, 2012 at the Dorney Lake. 64 athletes in eight boats came on.

The regatta, which was held over 2000 meters, began with two preliminary heats. The boats at No. 1 qualified directly for the finals, the others had in the repechage. Here, the first four boats qualified for the final, the other came in the final B in order to determine the places 7 and 8.
