Martin Sauer

Martin Sauer ( born December 17, 1982 in Wriezen ) is a German rower and since the 2009 season, helmsman of the Germany - rowing eight. With this team he celebrated his biggest success: the Olympic gold medal in London in 2012 and before the World Champion title at the World Rowing Championships in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Sauer was at the Junior World Championships in 2000 for the first time a member of the national team and was at the helm of the German rowing eight junior world champion.
