Armin Weyrauch
Armin Weyrauch ( born January 22, 1964) is a retired German rower. His greatest successes were the world title in 1990 and eight in the coxed four in 1991, with the products obtained by world best time to date is valid.
Weyrauch 1986 was the first time a member of the German national team, he finished in the quadruple sculls at the specified match as the senior unofficial U23 World Championships in Hamburg fourth place. At the World Championships in 1990 Weyrauch was a member of Germany rowing eight, who became world champion for the second time in a row.
At the 1991 World Championships, held in Vienna, Weyrauch launched in four with coxswain. Together with Armin Eichholz, Bahne Rabe, Matthias adversity and helmsman Jörg Dederding he won the finals in a time of 5:58,96 min, which was not offered until now. This makes it the oldest existing world record in rowing.
