1990 World Rowing Championships

The World Rowing Championships 1990 were held at Lake Barrington in the state of Tasmania, Australia, under the rules of the International Rowing Federation ( FISA ). In 22 boat classes while rowing world champion were determined. The finals were held on 3 and 4 November 1990.

For Germany launched despite the already completed reunification of East and West Germany for the last time two teams that occupied the top two spots in the medal table. About two months after the World Championships, the clubs of the East German Association DRSV were included in the West German DRV January 1, 1991.

Results

Here are the medal winners from the A- finals are listed. These were filled with six boats that had to qualify through pre-and hope runs and semi-finals for the finals. The track length was 2000 meters in all runs.
