2004 World Rowing Championships

The World Rowing Championships 2004, held from 27 July to 1 August 2004 at the Lake of Banyoles Banyoles, Spain, under the rules of the International Rowing Federation ( FISA ). The 14 Olympic boat classes were not held in 2004 due to the Olympic rowing regatta in Athens, so that only in 9 non-Olympic boat classes, the rowing world champions were determined. Because of the small detection field, the World Championships were aligned together with those of the juniors. The competition took 332 athletes in 114 crews from 39 nations participate.

Results

Here are the medal winners from the A- finals are listed. These were filled with six boats that had to qualify through pre-and hope runs and semi-finals for the finals. The track length was 2000 meters in all runs.
