1989 World Rowing Championships
The World Rowing Championships 1989 on Lake Bled in Yugoslavia (now Slovenia) under the rules of the International Rowing Federation ( FISA ) discharged. In 22 boat classes while rowing world champion were determined. The finals were held on 9 and 10 September 1989.

Here are the medal winners from the A- finals are listed. These were filled with six boats that had to qualify through pre-and hope runs and semi-finals for the finals. The track length was 2000 meters in all runs.
