Nikolai Petrovich Ivanov

Nikolai Petrovich Ivanov (Russian: Николай Петрович Иванов; born August 20, 1949 in Leningrad, † June 7, 2012 ) was a Soviet rower.

Ivanov won together with Vladimir Jeschinow and helmsman Valentin Kostizin the bronze medal in pairs with coxswain at the World Rowing Championships in 1970, also bronze were Jeschinow and Ivanov at the helm European Championships in 1971. At the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 Ivanov and Jeschinow occupied with coxswain Yuri Lorentsson the fifth in two. At the helm European Championships in 1973 and at the World Rowing Championships in 1974 and Ivanov Jeschinow won along with captain Alexander Lukyanov. 1975 exceeded all three rowers into the coxed four and won the title at the World Championships in Nottingham along with Alexander and Alexander Klepikow Sema. The following year, the Russian foursome won with Jeschinow, Ivanov, Klepikow, Mikhail Kuznetsov and Lukyanov also at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, after Kuznetsov had stepped in the finals for Sema.
