Hans Walter

Hans Walter ( * August 9, 1889; † January 14, 1967 ) was a Swiss rower and two-time Olympic champion.

At the Summer Olympics in Antwerp in 1920 he won the gold medal in the coxed four. The rear of the Swiss team has been eliminated in the first round.

At the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924, he won again the gold medal in the coxed four and coxless four came for the Swiss also the bronze medal behind the United Kingdom and Canada.

Walter was a member of the rowing section of Grasshopper Club Zurich.
