Rüdiger Reiche

Rüdiger Reiche ( born March 27, 1955 in cross- ford ) is a former rower from the German Democratic Republic. In 1976 he succeeded in the quadruple sculls Olympic victory.

Career

The tall empires began in athletics, where he had good points in the shot put and discus throwing. The talent scout from SC Chemistry Hall recruited him in 1970 as a basketball player, but after a short time he coached in the rowboat under coach Eberhard mouth.
