Sainte-Marie-Lapanouze

Sainte -Marie- Lapanouze ( Senta Maria la Panosa in Occitan ) is a commune with 62 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Gorges de la Haute Dordogne.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central from the south Millevaches Plateau and the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin between the Triouzoune the Diège on the right bank of the Dordogne.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 65 kilometers south-west, about 14 kilometers north Ussel and Bort- les- Orgues about 20 kilometers to the east.

Neighboring municipalities of Sainte -Marie- Lapanouze are Saint-Étienne- la- Geneste in the north, Roche -le- Peyroux in the east, Champagnac in the south, Liginiac the southwest and west and Chirac -Bellevue in the northwest.
