Chirac-Bellevue

Chirac -Bellevue ( Chirac in Occitan ) is a commune of 273 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Gorges de la Haute Dordogne.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central from the south Millevaches Plateau and the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin between the Triouzoune the Diège, two right tributaries of the Dordogne. The Paris meridian runs through the municipality.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 65 kilometers south-west, Ussel about 13 kilometers north and Égletons about 30 km south-west slightly.

Neighboring communities of Chirac -Bellevue are Mestes in the north, Saint- Exupéry -les -Roches in the Northeast, Saint- Victour in the east, Saint- Étienne- la- Geneste and Sainte -Marie- Lapanouze the southeast, Liginiac in the south, Neuvic in the southwest, Palisse in the west and Valiergues in the northwest.

Traffic

The place is for about six miles southeast slightly junction 23 of the A89 autoroute.
