San Sebastián International Film Festival
The Festival Internacional de Cine de Donostia- San Sebastián (Donostia Zinemaldia - Festival de San Sebastián) is an international week-long film festival. The venue of the festival is the Basque city of Donostia- San Sebastián.
Background
The Festival de San Sebastián was first held from 21 September 1953. It was classified as a so-called A- Festival by the Fédération Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films ( FIAPF ). Besides the official competition, which gives the festival, among others to be classified as A- festival, there are the following sections:
