Schillsdorf

Schillsdorf community is in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein. Altbokhorst, Bokhorst, Busdorf, hut Wahld, Kuhteich, turnpike and Schoenhagen lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Schillsdorf lies about 10 km east of Neumünster and about 5 km west of Federal Highway 21 ( extension to the Federal Road 404) from Kiel to Bad Segeberg on the former railway line from Neumünster to Plön.

History

The district Busdorf 1284 is first mentioned. This had to pay taxes until 1538 the monastery Bordesholm.

The districts of Schillsdorf incurred by branches of the goods Bothkamp. After the dissolution of Gutsbezirks Bothkamp Schillsdorf 1928 independent country church that belonged to the district of Bothkamp and thus the circle Bordesholm. After the dissolution of the circle Bordesholm 1932 Bothkamp came with the entire District to the district of Plön.

After the dissolution of the magisterial districts in 1948 and formation of the offices Schillsdorf belonged to the Official Bokhorst and was its administrative center. Since the merger of the offices Bokhorst and Wankendorf January 1, 2008 Schillsdorf belongs to the Official Bokhorst - totter village.

Policy

Of the eleven seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the municipal election 2008, seven seats and the voter community WUSB four.

Education

In Schillsdorf there is a kindergarten and a primary school. Secondary schools are located in Neumünster, Bornhöved and roll village.

Church

In the district Bokhorst is the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, which was inaugurated in 1950 and modified in 1960 and 2009. In 1971, the kindergarten " K.in.der Chestnut Bokhorst ", 1996, the "pathfinder Bokhorst " was founded.
