The Schwägalppass ( 1'278 m above sea level. M. ) is located in eastern Switzerland between Nesslau- Neu St. Johann in Upper Toggenburg in the canton of St. Gallen and Urnäsch in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. The actual peak with 1,300 m is located just south-west on the territory of the municipality Nesslau.
