The Sepang International Circuit (SIC ) is a motorsport race track in Malaysia. It lies about 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur in the immediate vicinity of the capital's international airport in the city of Sepang.

Development

The race track is one of seven current routes that have been designed by Hermann Tilke. The track was recorded in the racing calendar of the Formula 1 1999 and has since become an integral part of the calendar. In addition to the Formula 1 are also held the Malaysian Grand Prix as part of the motorcycle world championship and some local races on the circuit.
