Tasdorf

Tasdorf is a municipality in the district of Plön, in Schleswig- Holstein. The district Bornrüm situated in the municipality, northeast of the capital.

Geography and transport

Tasdorf is located on the northeastern outskirts of Neumünster. South of Tasdorf runs along the disused railway line Neumünster - ash mountain. Through the municipal area the Dosenbek flows which opens in Neumünster in the Schwale.

History

The original community Tasdorf was incorporated into the municipality Tungendorf 1939. Tungendorf had made 1938 the settlement Tung village with about 4,000 inhabitants and an area of 625 acres to the city of Neumünster. As part of the district reform of 1970, the village of Tung village was incorporated into Neumünster. This is essentially the original community Tung village had been incorporated to Neumünster. On September 15, 1970, the name of the municipality in Tasdorf was changed.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the voters since the UWT community municipal election 2008, four seats, the three CDU and the SPD two seats.
