Unterstrass

Name

The name derives from the first time mentioned in 1272 lower road which led from the ancient city of Zurich Kloten on until after Bülach. My counterpart, the upper road, justified the name of the neighborhood Upper rhinestones.

  • The Church of Our Lady, which was built as the second Roman Catholic church in the city of Zurich after the Reformation in the years 1893-1894. Irchelpark and University of Zurich

In sub rhinestones Irchelpark to which the Irchel campus of the University of Zurich and the State Archives of the Canton of Zurich lies adjacent.
