The Worb Castle is a castle in the municipality Worb, Canton Bern, Switzerland.

It was built for the Barons of Worb who are first mentioned in 1130. 1146 held Duke Konrad I of Zahringen on their manor court. Of these, the castle in 1329 went to John of Kien and after his death in 1352 over to the family of this creek, which was primarily known Niklaus of this Bach ( 1430-1475 ). A new building of the castle was carried out after a fire in 1535.

End of the 16th century, the rule Worb was three co-owners and was divided even further in the following years, to 1668 Christoph von Graffenried ( 1603-1687 ) was able to unite all the parts again. His nephew was Christoph von Graffenried (1661-1743), founder of the colony of New Bern, North Carolina. Until 1792, the rule remained in the possession of the family von Graffenried, then sold it a community of heirs of Johann Rudolf von Sinner. After several changes of ownership, the castle is now still in private hands.

The baroque building from the 17th century, a peasant glass collection is to see and find yourself in the Bel- floor rooms with painted canvas wallpaper.

Next to the old castle, the late baroque New Palace Worb was built after 1743.
