Alt Duvenstedt

Alt Duvenstedt (Danish: Gammel Duvensted ) is a town on the edge of the Hüttener mountains in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Krummenort situated in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Alt Duvenstedt is located a few kilometers north of Rendsburg in Hüttener Berge Nature Park. West extend the federal highway 77 and the railway line from Rendsburg Schleswig, runs east to Federal Highway 7, also from Rendsburg Schleswig.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1328 as Duvenstede. New Duvenstedt was founded in 1763 as part of the Geest colonization novel and forms with other settlements today a separate municipality. The term Alt Duvenstedt formed in 1919, as the train station in town got this name.

From 1924 formed Alt Duvenstedt together with Rickert the District Old Duvenstedt. Since 1948, Old Duvenstedt belongs to the Official Fockbek.

Policy

Of the 13 seats in the municipal council, the CDU had since the municipal election 2008, seven seats, the SPD and the voter community ADW three seats. After the election of 26 May 2013, the ADW five, the CDU and the SPD has four seats.

Bundeswehr

In Krummenort is the airbase to scorn belonging Hugo -Junkers- barracks of the air transport squadron 63 (LTG 63). Furthermore, there is the 3rd Company of the Marine protection resources from Eckernförde ( 3./MSK ) and a medical center ( Sanz ). In October 2011 it was announced that both the air base in scorn as well as the barracks are to be closed in the Krummenorter Heath. The formerly stationed here also 5th Company of reconnaissance battalion 6 from Eutin was dissolved on March 31, 2013. The 3./MSK is relocated to Eckernförde. Depending on the inflow of new transport aircraft Airbus A400M, the LTG 63 and Sanz is expected to be dissolved in 2019.
