Savignac-Lédrier
Savignac- Lédrier is a commune with 961 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Dordogne in the Aquitaine region. It belongs to the district Nontron and the canton Lanouaille. The municipality is a member of the Association of Local Authorities Pays de Lanouaille.
The community is made up of several hamlets: Savignac- Lédrier, La Chapelle, where the town hall, La Garanne and La Croix- Merle.
Geography
Savignac- Lédrier is in the countryside and historic province of Périgord. In the southwest of the Auvézère flows through the town, in the northwest, the Haute- Loue, a tributary of the Loue. The wooded valleys to the rivers were included in the inventory of ecologically valuable landscapes ( zones d' interet naturelles écologique, faunistique et floristic, ZNIEFF ).
Savignac- Lédrier is surrounded by the following municipalities:
