1929 International Lawn Tennis Challenge
The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1929 was the 24th edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national teams in tennis. The competition was held in two continental zones of Europe and the Americas zone. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the final. Here, the U.S. put v. Germany 5-0 through failed in taking place from July 26 to 28 finals but almost 2:3 with the defending champions France. France won with it the third title in a row.

Playoff
In the playoff between the two winners of the continental zones, the U.S. triumphed over Germany, which had first won the Europe zone. The U.S. went for the tenth year in a row, the final one.
