2013 FIA European Formula 3 Championship season

The European Formula 3 Championship in 2013 was the twelfth season of European Formula 3 Championship and the second since the resumption of the series in 2012. It began on March 24 in Monza and ended on 20 October in Hockenheim. Ten events were held, each with three races.

After the European Formula 3 Championship 2012 from races which belonged to the Formula 3 Euro Series and the British Formula 3 Championship existed, the events of the season are all separate race weekends.

Race Calendar

Except for the events in Monza, Silverstone and Le Castellet all races took place in the framework program of the DTM. The season opener at Monza was held as part of the World Touring Car Championship ( WTCC), the race at Silverstone was part of the FIA World Endurance Championship ( WEC) held and the race in Campagnano di Roma was held as part of the Superstars Series. There were three races per event.

Points system

In each race get the first ten of the race 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point (s).

Drivers' championship

  • In the third race in Monza less than 75 % of the planned race distance was completed. Therefore, half points were awarded.
