Alleyrat, Corrèze

Alleyrat ( Alairac in Occitan ) is a commune with 102 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Ussel - Meymac - Haute- Corrèze. The inhabitants call themselves Alleyratois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin.

Tulle, prefecture of the department is located, about 65 kilometers south-west, Égletons about 30 kilometers southwest and Ussel about 10 kilometers southeast.

Neighboring communities of Alleyrat are Saint -Germain- Lavolps in the north, Chaveroche in the east, Saint-Angel in the south and in the west Meymac.

Traffic

The village is located about 10 kilometers northwest of the junction 23 of the A89 autoroute.
