Arie den Hartog

Hendrik Arie den Hartog ( born April 23, 1941 in Zuidland ) is a former Dutch cyclist.

In 1962, Arie den Hartog third at the UCI Road World Championships in Salo in the road race in the amateurs. In 1963 he won the Omloop van de Kempen. In 1964 he turned professional and won in the same year the Tour de Luxembourg, the Grand Prix Belgique and Paris- Camembert. The greatest success of his career was the Hartogs victory at Milan - Sanremo in 1965. 1967 he won the Amstel Gold Race.

1970 ended Arie den Hartog its active cycling career. Then he opened a bicycle shop in the Nieuwstad has its headquarters today.
