Canoeing at the 2012 Summer Olympics
At the 2012 Olympics in London 16 decisions were held in canoeing. Competitions and schedule

Canoe Racing
The total number of athletes is 248, including 88 women and 158 men, and two places that the International Canoe Federation (ICF ) awards by invitation. Three quota places, in the K-1 500 meters of the women as well as in K-1 and C-1 1000 meters of the men are, the host NOK reserved. Each NOC may send a boat per contest at the start, when a quota place was reached. In the individual disciplines are 13 or 14, provided in the team disciplines ten to twelve boats.
